DB0018 Acrylic Paint - 18: Orange - Gloss - 14ml

Humbrol No. 18 Orange is a water-based Acrylic paint with a Gloss finish, supplied in a 14ml dropper bottle. It is developed for plastic model kits and resin models, but works on many other substrates. Matt, Satin and Metallic versions of this colour are also available. Humbrol has been the modeller's standard for decades.

Key Features

• Gloss finish with rich pigmentation, giving full opacity in two thin coats
• Self-levelling resin system for smooth brush-painted results
• 14ml dropper bottle — controlled dispensing onto a palette with less waste
• Touch-dry in 20 - 40 mins; hard-dry in 4 - 6 hours
• Brush or airbrush application, thinned with water or Acrylic Thinners

Ideal For

• Orange livery on 1:72 and 1:48 plastic aircraft kits, including Airfix schemes
• Resin miniatures and terrain needing a Gloss orange accent
• Craft work on wood, glass, ceramics, metal and sealed plaster

How to Use

Prime first in white or a light colour, as orange can need an extra coat over dark surfaces. Brush straight from the bottle or palette, or thin 2 parts paint to 1 part water/Acrylic Thinners for airbrushing. Two thin coats are preferable to one thick coat, letting the first hard-dry before the second.

Warning: not suitable for children under 3 years.
